DLM artificial rock is made from concrete, fiberglass and polyethylene composite materials. The rocks are either pre-manufactured, or can be built on-site depending on the scope of the project. In many cases, artificial rocks are created using our fiberglass inserts that are made by using our artists which sculpt and carve on the fiberglass insert structure. This is why they are often so realistically formed. On the jobsite, rebar is used to build the structure and gunite is sprayed onto the structure. Our artists then texture,carve and paint the gunite to simulate the desired rock landscape.
